Most of the time, I am inspired by the beautiful music played by the pianist during live performance. There is always a voice singing in my mind that it will be great if my fingers could dance gracefully over the black and white music keys. I wanted to fulfill this desire and decided to look for a keyboard tutor from the webpage. Finally I came across Miss Qiaolin’s online advertisement and decided to sign up for her lesson. To my surprise, her home studio is more grand and cosy than what I had expected. Her home studio creates a conducive environment for students to learn effectively and efficiently. Moreover, her lesson is based on individual session that allows one to learn comfortably at own pace. She is patient toward my slow learning pace, and she always encourages me whenever I played the right notes. To add on, I feel peaceful after I have attended her lesson as it relieves me from the pressure I face in school. Hence, if any of my friends is interesting in learning keyboard, I will highly recommend Miss Qiaolin to my friends.

I have learnt keyboard for around half a year, and i can play the chords for some simple slow songs. The process of learning keyboard is long and tough, but i am very happy when i can play songs. So as a beginner, we need to be patient and persistent. The keyboard class time are flexible, which is the reason that attract me in the beginning as i am doing shift works, and my teacher Qiaolin is nice enough to cooperate my working schedules that we are able to have one lesson each week, and when i was overseas, she would help me to make up the lessons that i have missed after i came back. During the learning process, i also have frustrations and difficulties, but Qiaolin will encourage me and find a suitable way for me to move on. So i am very grateful to have such a good teacher. I live at Simei, which takes long time for me to travel on the way, but i persist on because the good teacher and my interest, so don’t hesitate because of some environment factors, just do it as long as you love it and enjoy it. Once again, i want to say thank you to my dear teacher, Qiaolin. and hope i can improve more day by day.

This will be the 3rd month learning from Qiaolin. She is enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate about the piano. Furthermore, she is always very patient in guiding me through the piano works. Her lesson is always interesting and meaningful, thus i’m enjoying attending every single lesson and looking forward to learn more from her.. I have been wanting to learn music for a long time. Was contemplating between piano and keyboard. But decided on keyboard as it is much easier to fit it into my room. So went online to look for a teacher that is able to cater to my busy working schedule. I wanted to have an individual lesson as well. I am glad to have found Qiaolin who was able to cater not only to my busy work schedule, but was patient enough to teach me as I do not have any music background and at times, I do not have time to practice. This has been a very refreshing course. I’ve learned quite a lot about the technicalities of a piano even though it’s only the beginner’s course. Qiaolin is a very patient and enthusiastic teacher. The lessons taught by Qiaolin are interesting and fun. Though I learn for very short time, I get to master different chords and that make me realise that chords play with various rhythms can turn into beautiful melody. Qiaolin is nice and patient sometimes when I have difficult time in figuring out notes she will encourage me and guide me along 🙂 thus keyboard lessons with her are enjoyable and relaxing.

Coming into the fourth month learning with Qiaolin, I find myself learning more from her than the 12 months group keyboard lesson that I have attended last year. Qiaolin is very patient with “old” peopleJ. I am picking up very slowly and Qiaolin has been guiding me according to my learning pace. I get to create my own chord progression in class and I welcome such challenges as it stimulates my creativity and gives me a sense of accomplishment. Despite the journey and the fact that I am also attending other classes 3 nights a week, I have never thought of giving up the class because I feel comfortable with Qiaolin and the class helps me to get away from the pressure at work.

Even though I started with zero music background, I am still able to follow Qiaolin’s keyboard lessons. Not only does she make it easy to learn, she also makes the lessons enjoyable. Though practising the basics may be tedious at times but there are also fun parts where I got to apply the things learnt on different songs throughout the course! Qiaolin is a patient teacher. And she knows how to teach a person with zero knowledge about keyboard (like me) progressively with clear guidance. Now, I can play a song and sing along with it. =)

Learning the basics is a challenge but the results are evident once applied in playing the songs interested in learning. Its a breeze from there and certainly appreciate the hard work put in earlier when drilling on the basics like getting the fingering and chords right.

Qiaolin’s Studio has flexible timetable to fit each student’s needs. This is very helpful as I don’t have a fixed working schedule. Because of my busy working schedule, sometimes I couldn’t practice and she has been very patient in teaching and revising.

Hi guys..just wanna share with you on this…no obligation Few months back i was looking online for a keyboard/piano teacher..I went for a few trial lessons conducted by different people.. In the end, I have chosen Qiaolin to be my teacher and after completed the beginner course in around 4 months time. I must say I have no regret choosing her as my teacher. She’s a patient, easy-going and professional full-time teacher.

The pace of learning is good. Feel that a good foundation is build up. Qiaolin is patient in teaching too 🙂

In Qiaolin’s Studio, I’m able to learn & play pop music songs with different varieties of chord skills, it makes me feel more excited compared to classical music which i learned previously. It makes the piano feel alive.
